Having
Jerielle Morwitz back on the Barn’s stage is almost all you need to do
to create a hit show there. She plays Frau Blucher with an easy frenzy,
imbuing her with every heinous aspect you’d see in a darkly
black-and-white horror film of the 1930s. She sings like a nacht-mare
you wake from with elation. She moves sharply which works for the
character of the housekeeper and she stops the show with her wonderful
solo "He Vas My Boyfriend." Thank you, the Barn, for bringing her back
to us." - J. Peter Bergman - Berkshire Bright Focus

"Morwitz is a wonderful performer. She really seems incapable of doing something wrong. Her rendition of "Dogtown" is a memorable event. Her ensemble work, her duets and her musical scene work are all essential ingredients to the success of this show." J. Peter Bergman Berkshire Bright Focus

My very first documented musical in 10th grade! I have no pictures of the actual first one in 6th grade (You're a Good Man Charlie Brown).
"Jerielle Morwitz is a pleasure to see and hear as Muriel Eubanks;
her light-handed comedy is a pleasant alternative to the more heavy-handed Rozak providing
a sensual counterpoint."
-J. Peter Bergman, Berkshire Bright Focus
"Morwitz's particular brand of oddness is in her face, her eyes, her hands, her feet. She moves with the precision of a dancer to create a fey, almost frightening character. Her Theda is less a physical threat than she is a very human one. She gives Theda a passion that shouts itself out in the quiet moments." Peter Bergman "The Advocate"
"Jerielle Morwitz is delicious as the alcoholic Drowsy Chaperone.." By Bob Goepfert, The Record

"Morwitz, ....gifted comedienne who isn't afraid to look and sound ridiculous when the occasion calls for it – as it does frequently here." "...All four performers are gifted with rubber faces and a talent for switching accents." -Gailsez.org
"Jerielle Morwitz plays the Old Lady on the bus with verve and delicacy." -Peter J. Bergman
"When she lets go on a song, like she does on I Only Have Eyes for You, there is no doubt that this is a performer in her prime." -Gailsez.org

"Morwitz shines as Vienna, with a radiant stage presence ....she dominates all of the men in the show, including the titular hero. She also has one of the few solos in the show, a lovely ballad called Welcome Home that she renders beautifully..." -Bruce G. Hallenbeck, The Independent
